Once the movie got started, it just didn't stop!

I fidgeted and made noises and damn near fell out of my seat.

Who wants to go with me to see it again? Anyone? Please?

For the third time in six years, my job has made me cry.

I was originally supposed to work 12 to 3 today with my CLS guy. A stroke of luck freed up most of that time when he was asked to work today, so all I had to do is pick him up from his home and drop him off at his job. His job coach will take him home after his shift.

I got up this morning and didn't automatically check my phone right away like I normally do. So, it took me awhile to see all the texts my brother sent regarding my grandmother. She took a pretty rough turn last night, and things weren't looking too great.

The kids originally started out with silliness the first time sirens went off. Thy each grabbed an umbrella and ran outside. But as things progressed and got worse, the kids decided it was time to hit the hallway.

Beyond meeting someone new and spending time doing something I love, I'm really looking forward to having a king size bed to myself. And a bathroom where I can take my time and not be bothered by seven other people needing to use it.

And a morning meditation not punctuated by the crazy rantings of a bitter old hag.

I received my level one Reiki attunement back in July. It was a pretty interesting experience for me. Part of it was frustrating, but it turned out to be a lesson in patience and trusting in myself. My inner child threw a bit of a fit that weekend.
